When managing large websites, content will inevitably be moved or removed at some point. An error occurs if a client tries to access content using an outdated link.
The Link Mapper extension allows content authors to:
Track 404 Not Found errors in real time
Configure redirects (200, 302, 301, 410)
Prevent future 404 Not Found errors
As each client request goes through the filter chain, the next time the URL is called, the client will receive the redirect.
