The task workspace in Magnolia’s JCR repository stores information about scheduled and executed tasks. Too many tasks can affect AdminCentral performance.

The Tasks Cleaner module provides commands to archive and delete tasks, so that they will no longer be displayed in the Tasks app, reducing the time to log into AdminCentral and to publish content.

It is configurable, allowing you to specify the conditions when to mark a task as archived or deleted.
