Bot protection helps prevent malicious bot attacks on your server by allowing you to configure various protection mechanisms such as IP validation, header/request parameter validation, or rate limit. The module comes with the following capabilities: 

Bot protection with prevention of SQL injection spam from bot

• Prevent malicious query statement from being injected into request parameters.
• Prevent unusually high requests from bad bots.

IP protection

• Validate the format and origin of IP addresses to prevent spoofing or unauthorized access attempts.

Rate limit

• Limit the number of requests a user or IP address can make within a specific timeframe.
• Temporarily block suspicious IP addresses after exceeding a threshold of suspicious activity.
