Scot Rhodes serves as a Senior Solution Architect and Tech Evangelist at Magnolia DXP, based in Basel, Switzerland. With nearly three decades of software engineering and enterprise architecture experience, Scot guides global organizations through digital transformation, system migrations, and modern digital experience platform (DXP) implementations. He specializes in turning complex technical challenges into practical, modular platform architectures, helping enterprise clients build scalable web environments without unnecessary operational friction. As a technical evangelist and full-stack trainer, Scot regularly develops innovative proof-of-concept (PoC) builds—ranging from native mobile applications to virtual reality (VR) integrations—that demonstrate the capabilities of composable systems.
Scot's engineering career spans high-stakes environments across enterprise software, biotech, defense, and aerospace sectors. Before joining Magnolia DXP in 2018, he worked as a Software Architect at Chemspeed Technologies in Switzerland, where he built the user interfaces for robotic platforms that automate chemical testing. His previous leadership roles include serving as an Application Engineer at Actelion, where he established integration competency centers and architected global enterprise applications, as well as a Senior Software Engineer at ii4sm. Earlier in his career, Scot served as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, leading technical initiatives for major aerospace defense programs including the Boeing P-8 Poseidon and custom fleet management applications.
