Global enterprises now have more capability to optimize content and digital experiences under a new partnership between Siteimprove, a digital intelligence platform, and Magnolia, a Swiss-based content management system (CMS).
At the core of the partnership is a plugin that will allow users of Magnolia CMS to integrate the Siteimprove tool into a seamless interface to improve SEO, web analytics and content quality.
“Users of Magnolia and Siteimprove will get instant access to data that helps them improve content, all within the CMS interface,” said Nicolai Munch Andersen, technical product expert at Siteimprove. “This includes an analytics summary, SEO, quality assurance, web accessibility and Digital Certainty Index (DCI), a scoring model to track digital performance. Integrating content management and optimization onto the same platform makes it easier and faster for content teams to go to market. This gives them the speed to deliver high-performing websites and great digital experiences more efficiently.”
More advanced plugin in development
There’s exciting news ahead with a more advanced plugin already in development. With a dynamic widget integrated into the Magnolia CMS user interface, content editors will have real-time access to visual data from Siteimprove’s intelligence automation platform. This will make it easier for them to optimize their website in terms of SEO, web analytics and global web accessibility standards, before the content goes live.
“The idea behind the plugin is simple yet effective,” said Sebastian Stang, Magnolia’s general manager for the DACH and Benelux region. “Content editors can check and optimize content before it’s actually published. They can spot and fix broken links, typos and SEO errors in real-time, as the dynamic widget automatically reloads whenever the content changes. Editors no longer have to publish a page and then have it checked separately, switching across different tools. This streamlines the workflow in an environment where editors increasingly have to consider multiple channels, devices and formats.”
Siteimprove's cloud-based software provides eye-opening insights that empower you and your team to understand, prioritize, and optimize the performance of your website and beyond. More than 7,000 organizations around the world trust the Siteimprove Intelligence Platform (SIP) to perfect their digital presence.
