DevOps Solution Architect

As Solution Architect/DevOps Engineer, you will join an interdisciplinary PaaS Development team to work on the product delivery and management of the customer base. The low-barrier and constant exchange with the consulting & DevOps peers worldwide and in the competence centre of the Magnolia Group enables you to shape the projects independently and with autonomy in your area of responsibility. Together with your team, you will be building our industry-leading experience framework by creating cutting-edge solutions and putting them to the test by introducing them to our internal stakeholders, partners and clients.

The details

What things you’ll be doing?

Work closely within the PaaS development team.
Your key field of expertise will be in the infrastructure setup, automation and development of self-services.
Own topics from ideation, concept throughout development till rollout.
Provide value during product presentations/demonstrations by showcasing the Magnolia PaaS infrastructure and Magnolia features and capabilities during initial product evaluations.
Take care of the customer onboarding to the PaaS infrastructure and assist the customers in case of questions and troubleshooting.
Provide expert know-how on development, integration and Magnolia deployment and system architecture, including backup strategies, load balancing, failover, security, multisite and general hosting configuration.
Present effective outcomes from both technical and business engagements through effective written or visual aids.
Share your expertise around cloud topics and provide consulting and workshops on topics like K8S, cluster orchestration, containerization, CI/CD tooling and practices, scaling strategies and continuous deployment pipeline.

What do we need from you?

Experience with Kubernetes, Helm Charts, containerization and continuous delivery pipelines
Several years of experience with the usual web technology stack, e.g. JS, CSS, HTTP, HTML, XML, web server, and Databases
Essential experience with the usual operating systems, application servers and databases, especially Linux/Unix and PostgreSQL DB
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
A collaborative can-do attitude and a relentless focus on automation and customer empowerment (self-services)
Ability to present: very technical issues must be transmitted on an understandable level
