You will be joining the Sales team in Basel, Switzerland. Your prior roles in sales have given you a good understanding of the overall sales process. We need a go-getter, but you’re going to do more than just reach out to new clients. We want you to become partners with our potential clients to help them execute their goals. With a consultative approach, you will show them how Magnolia can help make their day-to-day business smoother and more profitable. Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and target leads
  • Develop and maintain strong customer connections
  • Understand the customer by asking the right questions
  • Don't sell a product - sell a solution with an added value
  • Respond to inbound queries from our customers via phone, web conference and e-mail
  • Present Magnolia to prospective customers primarily through web demonstrations, but also through phone conferences and on-site presentations
  • Engage in accurate forecasting and CRM activities to effectively prospect and generate new customer leads and manage the existing customer base and pipeline
  • Actively participate and network with professionals in the Open Source and CMS community to stay on top of industry trends and share your knowledge with others
  • Travel as necessary to conduct field sales presentations and related activities (typically 40% travel away from office)

 

What we are looking for

  • 5+ years of recent and relevant sales experience in a leading web-oriented company, selling related enterprise-class products and projects
  • Technologically savvy, broad know-how of CMS, web technologies related products and a good understanding of the values cloud services are providing
  • Proven ability to win business and establish positive long-term customer relationships and satisfaction
  • Demonstrated track record of success in lead generation and prospecting as well as closing sales and achieving targets
  • Highly adaptable and independent, self-motivated individual with excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • A can-do attitude, excellent presentation skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Native in German; fluent in English and any other languages like French or Italian are a big plus
