Magnolia International, the Basel-based digital business platform vendor, has appointed a new CMO and CTO, in addition to a Product Manager and a strategic advisor. The key appointments will strengthen Magnolia’s ability to place customers at the heart of its digital business products and services.
Lars Böddener has been appointed as Chief Marketing Officer, marking Magnolia’s increasing emphasis on customer experience. Lars previously held the post of Director Global Content Management at Sony, where he built extensive experience establishing global brand platforms and regional e-commerce platforms. At Magnolia, Lars will be leading marketing strategy, campaigns and initiatives in alignment with product management, services and sales objectives.
Jan Haderka has been appointed as Magnolia’s Chief Technology Officer. Previously Chief Integration Officer, Jan has been with Magnolia since 2007. He has played a key role in developing new integrations to enable clients to carry out complex content management projects. In addition to developing Magnolia’s ease of use and strength as a solid digital business platform, Jan will be ensuring that Magnolia enables clients get to market faster. Jan will succeed Philipp Bärfuss, who has made a tremendous contribution in the last 11 years, but has now decided to look for new challenges. Philipp will continue working at Magnolia until the end of June to support the transition.
Rasmus Skjoldan has joined Magnolia as a Product Manager. Rasmus brings a wealth of experience in the area of content hubs and omnichannel content management to the table. A former brand manager of TYPO3, Rasmus was user experience lead of the TYPO3 Neos open source project before running Cope, a Copenhagen-based content strategy consultancy.
Daniel Hinderink has joined Magnolia as strategic advisor to the Magnolia Board and Management Team. He will be tapping into his extensive experience in content management and user experience to help execute from concept to implementation. Daniel is the co-founder and managing partner of dpool, a Munich-based consulting company focusing on digital marketing processes and custom software development. He is a leading figure in the content management world, and has worked extensively with TYPO3. Daniel has worked with Magnolia as a consultant for a number of years and has a solid understanding of the Magnolia products and services.
