Fitch Ratings has chosen Magnolia CMS as the platform for the relaunch of its global website network. Known for its high interoperability and performance, Magnolia CMS has a strong international reputation as the open suite CMS for the enterprise.
Fitch Ratings needed a unified global web platform to build and coordinate locally managed sites in more than 30 countries. Magnolia CMS allowed Fitch to create a secure, centralized, multilingual content management platform that integrated with its core data, resulting in a flexible system that displays critical financial reports to clients around the world.
Enhancing our CMS allows us to accelerate the process of launching new products and services. It provides a strong technical architecture for our developers and an easy to use front-end for content creators within our business.
By adopting Magnolia CMS, Fitch was able to improve its website content publishing workflow. The Fitch IT team was also able to replace a complex set of legacy templates and scripts with a streamlined code base which is both faster and easier to maintain.
Older legacy systems impede the speed at which organizations can react to their market. Fitch Ratings is using Magnolia in just the way we intended to evolve their web presence.
Magnolia's Standard Templating Kit with out-of-the-box page layouts and website components allowed Fitch to speed development of regional websites to three months. With the first three sites for Fitch's offices in Poland, Russia and Taiwan already operational, Fitch expects to roll out replacement sites throughout their entire network quickly. Fitch's internal Java developers now have a CMS that is intuitive, flexible and highly interoperable, allowing them to do a significant amount of work just with configuration changes within the templating kit.
