On-site Workshops

Many clients find that a workshop tailored to the client's implementation of Magnolia CMS is the best way to maximize Magnolia's on-site assistance. Your Web developers receive advice and instruction that directly supports your implementation and launch of Magnolia. On-site workshops typically last five days, preceded by a preparation day. The workshop is conducted at client’s site or client-selected venue.

On-site Workshop Agenda (Guideline)

  1. Preparation day
  2. Project definition and setup.
  3. Modules overview: boot strapping, model descriptor loading etc.
  4. STK introduction and existing modules
  5. STK analysis of client's project

On-site workshop applies Magnolia product expertise to your organization's project goals. This way, not only are your developers learning the intricacies of the Magnolia product, they are also working on their project's implementation under the guidance and tutelage of Magnolia experts.

Prerequisites

To make sure you get most out of the on-site workshop, we ask you to provide a list of requirements specific to your Magnolia implementation at least five business days ahead of the scheduled workshop. This provides instructors with an opportunity to learn about your project requirements and prepare instructional information accordingly.

Workshop participants are encouraged to be familiar with the Java Servlet API, a Java development environment (Eclipse IDE preferred) and Java Database Connectivity. Workshops in North America are conducted in the English language. North American clients requiring workshops in a language other than English, must supply their own translation service.
