Announcing Magnolia Conference 2009

The first Magnolia Conference will take place September 10-11, 2009 in Basel, Switzerland

Magnolia International Ltd., the open source content management vendor that delivers simplicity on an enterprise scale, today announced the First Annual Magnolia Conference in Basel, Switzerland on September 10-11 2009.

The new Magnolia Conference will be an event where current and potential Magnolia users, partners and community contributors can meet and learn about the open source, standards-based Java CMS.

Location

The First Annual Magnolia Conference will be held in Basel, Switzerland.  The specific venue will be announced shortly. Basel is in the center of Europe, and is easily accessible by air and by train.

Events

The First Annual Magnolia Conference will have two tracks: Business and Technical.

The business track will educate managers and CIO's about the cost and quality benefits of using open source CMS's in general, and the specific benefits of Magnolia CMS.

The technical track will provide developers and system administrators with knowledge of and hands-on experience with Magnolia CMS.

There will also be a private event for Magnolia partners on Wednesday, September 9th. This will include workshops and a dinner event.

On the 11th, there will be community-organized events.

Attending

Tickets to the First Annual Magnolia Conference will go on sale immediately.  There will be an early bird price for both days equal to 200€ until July 1st, after which the price will be 300€.

Partner day will be free for Official Partners.
