Coach a new generation of developersTrainer, U.S.

Magnolia provides developer training to partners and clients. During a week-long hands-on course developers learn the ins and outs of Magnolia CMS, and walk out ready to create outstanding sites. In 2012, we expect to train more developers than ever before. This is where you step in.

You will be joining the Magnolia Services team as a trainer in the U.S. You will be reponsible for training developers in our partner organization and at client sites. You will take the lead in planning the U.S. training curriculum and contributing to the training material. In cooperation with our existing trainers you create new material and adapt the instruction to suit the needs of your audience. You are an experienced Web developer who has keen interest in sharing your knowledge and instituting best practices.

While training is your primary duty, you will also build proofs of concept and consult clients. We value any prior consulting experience and client-facing roles highly. 

Responsibilities

• Learn Magnolia CMS inside-out.
• Become an expert in best practices.
• Train developers in Miami.
• Conduct custom on-site workshops at client location.
• Continuously update and improve the training material.
• Lead an effort to build an eLearning site for independent study.
• Plan training calendar and allocate resources.
• Promote training opportunities through partner network and other channels.
• Build proofs of concept.
• Consult clients on their needs, collect requirements, provide advice.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in Java development, particularly Web application and front-end development
• Strong know-how of Web technologies and best practices
• Proven experience in training and presentation. Desire to improve skills further.
• Concrete examples of training curricula and material that you have created and taught. 
• Ability to speak English fluently. Training is conducted in English.
• Natural speaker, clear communicator.
• Experience as a consultant or other client-facing roles.
