The program for Magnolia Conference 2010 is now online. The talks were chosen from a broad range of proposed business and technical presentations, from JBoss.org's Mark Newton talking about ModeShape to Integrating Magnolia with the Spring Framework using Blossom.

Online magazine Government Technology reports that Manatee County in Florida, USA is currently preparing to relaunch its website based on Magnolia CMS and its Standard Templating Kit.
"For five years, a patchwork mix of legacy systems turned simple Web IT tasks into time-consuming chores", writes the magazine and continues: "Magnolia CMS, said Matthew Arriaga, software designer for the county's Information Services Department, frees the IT team up to handle IT tasks rather than content creation. A new television and radio website is online with Magnolia On Air and our Standard Templating Kit: Radio e Televisiun Rumantscha (RTR) is the only electronic media organization to provide public service output for Romansh-speaking Svizra rumantscha, one of Switzerland’s four language regions. Televisiun Rumantscha (TvR) can be seen every day on Swiss TV's channel SF1. Radio Rumantsch (RR) broadcasts around the clock in Romansh. www.rtr.ch
Find OpenMind's new tag cloud module in your Magnolia Store now. It allows you to define tag clouds with auto-completion based on the Lucene index of your content. Obviously a completely different approach from the managed tag clouds of the Standard Templating Kit, but very nice for highly dynamic environments. read on
