Modules

Magnolia has a modular architecture. A module is an independent Magnolia component. Magnolia itself is built as a collection of different modules. For example, AdminCentral (our administrative GUI), Document Management System and Workflow are all modules. This concept makes it easy to build custom modules to extend Magnolia's functionality.

The Magnolia Store provides direct access to all available modules.

Magnolia Store is the one stop shop for all extensions available for the Magnolia CMS. The Store is accessible right from inside Magnolia and allows you to see which modules you have installed, lists available updates and provides a list of all modules available for Magnolia.

For your reference, the following list is retrieved directly from the store. Modules listed in the store may come from community members just as well as from Magnolia itself. Each module has a detail description providing further information regarding support and documentation.

Many of the modules developed and shipped by Magnolia are bundled with the official Magnolia releases. They are also listed in the store, and documented on the official Magnolia documentation site's module section.
