Magnolia CMS supports non-immediate deletion, undo of deltions and the ability to have custom deletion workflows.

The deletion behavior matches that of all other changes to content, i.e. if an author decides to delete a page, the page is marked for deletion in AdminCentral (and its template is changed to display a special "deletion" page with further options instead of the original content) but no further actions are taken. This way, an author can easily restructure a site and only once all activities have been done, activate the changes. If a workflow for deletion is configured, such a deletion can now go through a multi-step workflow like any other action performed on content.
