Some Magnolia modules are licensed under the Common Public Attribution License (CPAL). CPAL is an OSI-approved Open-Source license. This page provides information regarding your use of CPAL-covered Magnolia code.

Code covered by CPAL

Most of Magnolia's Open-Source code is licensed under GPL v3. This section here is only relevant for code licensed under CPAL. As an example, Magnolia's "Standard Templating Kit" is code covered by CPAL (unless you are an Enterprise Client, in which case it is covered by the Magnolia Network Agreement).

The Magnolia CPAL license

The CPAL license contains two exhibits that are specific for each product. This is why Magnolia has its own copy of the CPAL license available for download as a PDF file.

The Magnolia CPAL covered code requires you to display an attribution to Magnolia, for details please see the Magnolia CPAL license. You are also required to keep the Magnolia logo in the upper left corner of AdminCentral intact.

Images for displaying the footer

Additionally, you can display a Magnolia logo in the footer of published content maintained with Magnolia. You can use the adjacent images in the footer. Find download links on the right.
