Magnolia, the Open Source content management system (CMS) that delivers simplicity on an enterprise scale, has been chosen by JBoss.org as the platform to support its new website infrastructure. With over 40 different open source middleware projects to host, Magnolia will play a key part in building the project websites for use by the community.

JBoss.org currently uses an in-house system written by themselves.
They will switch to Magnolia, because they want to focus on adding value for the over 40 software projects they host, instead of maintaining a self-made CMS.
The Open Source nature of Magnolia and its adherence to standards played an important part in JBoss.org's decision.
During the evaluation phase, JBoss.org did most of the work themselves, including a proof-of-concept.
